Pressure Washing

Pressure, or power washing is an effective and timesaving method for cleaning building exteriors, sidewalks, pavement and parking areas. The removal of these contaminants is important to the life and appearance of your exterior surfaces.

Oil and salt alone can lead to a premature breakdown of your paved surfaces resulting in potholes, cracks and other concerns. These issues can result in costly repairs or worse an injury to the visitors of your building or facility.

ServiceMaster of Markham/Richmond Hill offers professional power and pressure washing services. Our trained pressure washing technicians will help you extend the life of your exterior surfaces. We will have your property looking fresh, clean and attractive.

Did You Know?

Does LVT require special maintenance in high-traffic areas?

Yes. High-traffic areas require more frequent cleaning, additional protection such as matting systems, and scheduled periodic maintenance to manage wear and maintain appearance.

We've already had deep cleaning and disinfection done in our facility, doesn't that cover it?

The purpose of disinfection is for infection control to help ensure the health and safety of your facility and its occupants. Surface contamination can and is likely to recur. Once a surface has been disinfected, that same surface can easily be re-contaminated when the next passerby touches that surface or sneezes or coughs near that surface. As such, infection control is about regular and consistent cleaning and disinfection. Unless an occupant has been diagnosed with a confirmed case of an illness, you will likely not need to regularly perform deep cleaning and disinfection. However, to keep your facility healthy and safe, what you should be maintaining is your standard cleaning protocols with the addition of regular and consistent disinfection of high touch points.

Is drying and curing the same thing?

No. Drying means that the surface layer is no longer wet or damp to the touch. Curing, on the other hand, means that acrylic has reached its maximum hardness thereby providing the necessary protection of your flooring.
